How Open Should You Be In A Relationshp?

Should you be very open (tell the other person everything), not too open or not open at all in a relationship? What do you think?

Openess is the best policy. It helps you know each other better and it helps build trust. But don't be so open as to e.g. taking naked pictures of each other...that's moving from openess to madness

I certainly agree with you openness is the basis of any successful relationship it increase trust, but definitively there are some issues that should remain obscure and unfolded for the sake of your relationship. E.g your past adventure with ladies etc.

I concur....openess is among the best policies that should reign in any relationship. However, it comes down to what degree of openess should you let out. My take don't expose 100 % of you while your only getting 50% of them.

it depends with the personality of the person am relating with. imagine being open to a person who will in future use a statement you once made to him/ her to your disadvantage e.g if you happen to have a disagreement between you two then the first thing is to compare the situation with what you once said more so if it happens to have similarities.i think openness should be to an extent where it does not depict you as selfish towards information at the same time does not compromise your relationship

yes one should be open in a |your relationship' it helps the relationship grow in a positive way and makes it wax stronger each opportunity, each Day.

YOU SHOULD BE OPEN CAUSE BEING OPEN MINDED IS GOOD THAT SHOWS A TRUTHFUL PERSON THAT YOU ARE IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO OPEN UP IT LESS FOR YOU COS A DAY WILL COME WHEN THE TRUTH SHALL SAVE YOU IT WILL ONLY TAKE TIME BUT I TELL YOU BEING OPEN MINDED HELPS ALOT

Being Open is cool and i think most people like it that way.I dont think that one can be fully open.some issues should not be told out,unless your asked to, because they create doubts rather than strengthen the relationship.Take an example on your past life.it may bring more doubts.
